My bird photography continues to grow, and I have been published three times this past spring and summer. It was only a matter of time before I would decide to share what I have learned. I am offering a course on How to Create Amazing Bird Photography.
The Bird Photography Workshop Consists of THREE PARTS.
- PART ONE will take place on July 30 or August 8 at 7 PM on Zoom, where I will discuss the camera settings and the equipment needed to capture these tiny and fast-moving creatures. I will also talk about the art of the composition, utilizing fencing, tree branches, and the open sky to create impact. I will show you how I create my famous “High Key Bird Photo” (pictured below) using the sky as a backdrop. There is still so much more that I will tell you in the Zoom workshop. No need to worry if you miss it because it will be recorded.
- PART TWO will be a personalized bird photo session in my backyard bird studio. You will be amazed at how simple my set-up is, yet I have hundreds of birds that come to sing, dance, and pose for me every day. You will have a full hour to photograph birds with my instruction: no one else, but you and me (and a hundred birds).
- PART THREE will be a personalized post-production Zoom session. We will work on several of your images together using Photoshop.
The cost is only $150, and you can register online. The Zoom sessions will be held on July 30 and August 6 at 7 PM. Once you have that under your belt, we can schedule your very own bird photography session in my backyard in Duluth and then your post-production session. Mornings are the best time to capture the birds!
