I recently read an article about intentionally moving a camera while taking a picture and thought it would be fun to try. I found a colorful area in my yard to try out this new technique. I chose a brightly colored rose bush. Then I set my camera to shutter priority and set my shutter to about 0.5 seconds. Next I moved the camera in circles, up and down and sideways while I was pressing the shutter. You can see from the examples shown what happened. I’m not sure I would use these images for anything but it sure was fun. So next time you are bored, try intentional camera movement to create abstract images for a different look.
