How to Reduce Noise in a Digital SLR Camera

October 12, 2015 by Mary Buck

How to reduce noise in a digital SLR Camera?

It is actually a degradation in image quality caused by using a high ISO or by using a long exposure. In the video below I will show you how to reduce noise in the camera with both a Nikon and a Canon digital SLR camera.   If you would like to view more of my videos please subscribe to the Studio 2.8 YouTube Channel.

Back Button Focus

October 7, 2014 by Mary Buck

I recently learned about the back button focus on my Canon DSLR camera. My sister told me about is a couple of years ago, but I figured I was so used to the normal way to focus I wouldn’t need it. I finally decided to try it and all I can say is “WOW” – it is so much easier to focus on my portrait work and also my flower photography. I decided to make a video so you can learn how to do it. You can try back button focus and if you don’t like it you can always go back to the old way. One of my goals this year is to try new things and back button focus is just one of the unexpected changes I have made.
