Image Sensor Size on a Digital SLR Camera

December 11, 2014 by Mary Buck

What Does a Cropped Sensor Mean?

In this video, I explain what an image sensor size on a digital SLR camera is and what the difference is between a  full framed image sensor vs. a cropped sensor.  I also explain the pros and cons of using a cropped image sensor camera. Most of my students are unaware of the cropped sensor feature on their cameras, so in this video, I want to take the mystery out of this.  To view more of my videos subscribe to my YouTube Channel.
