Learn new skills while enjoying the gorgeous fall weather in Atlanta. Join a veteran nature photographer and other like-minded people for a day of adventure and photography.
When: October 27 (rain date October 28) or November 1 (rain date November 2)
What Time: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM. Daylight savings time ends on November 6, so the sunrise is at 8:00 AM
Where: We meet at the Chattahoochee River Walk for the sunrise and then take a stroll on the boardwalk, where you will see many species of birds. Our next stop will be Vickery Creek and Falls, a hidden treasure in the city of Roswell. After lunch, our next stop will be another preserve within the Chattahoochee National Recreational Area. (a $5 day pass will be required)
What does it include? A tour through three of the best nature preserves in Atlanta, photography instruction (I’ll tell you my favorite settings for sunrise, wildlife, and landscapes), and a boxed lunch. You’ll be in the company of like-minded people communing with nature for the entire day. You will capture amazing photographs throughout the day.
Who can attend? Anyone with a passion for photography and nature. Beginners are welcome.

What should I bring? Water, bug spray, hiking shoes, a DSLR or Mirrorless camera, and a tripod.
