Beginner Level Group Photography Lessons
This will be a small group with only 10 students. Teens are welcome.
As just a quick “sneak preview,” the content of the beginner photography class covers the following:
- Shooting modes; aperture priority, shutter priority, and manual mode
- ISO settings
- Depth of field
- Composition
- White balance setting
- Lighting
- Lenses & filters
- How to see the light
- Fill-flash
- Histograms
- Metering modes
When – Saturday, June 10 and 17 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Independent study will also be required during the week. Homework will be assigned after each lesson.
Rain dates – June 11 and 18
Where – Sims Lake Park, Suwanee GA

Intermediate Level Group Photography Lessons
This will be a small group with only 6 students. Teens are welcome
This advanced-level workshop will cover the following:
- A deeper dive into shooting in manual mode, especially creative exposures
- Learn how to use exposure bracketing and process HDR images
- Developing your own sense of artistic style
- Shooting in RAW with an introduction to Adobe Camera Raw/Lightroom
When – June 26 and 27 from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM. Independent study will also be required during the week. Homework will be assigned after each lesson.
Where – Duluth – address will be provided upon registration

Waterfalls and Long Exposure Photography
