June 23–27 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Rogers Bridge Park, Duluth, GA | Outdoor Covered Pavilion

Let your teen step into the wild beauty of summer and explore the art of seeing through the lens. Our Teen Photography Summer Camp returns by popular demand—and this time, it’s more enriching than ever. Set beneath the canopy of trees at the scenic Rogers Bridge Park, this immersive five-day experience invites young creatives (ages 12–18) to unplug, slow down, and reconnect with the natural world.

📸 What Awaits:

  • A creative writing session—learn to craft compelling stories behind the images
  • A gentle birding hike to observe and identify the songbirds of Georgia
  • Small group learning—limited to only 8 participants for an intimate, focused experience

Each day blends technical learning with creative exploration, designed to awaken a deeper appreciation for both photography and the quiet wonders of nature.

Camp Leaders

Mary Buck

Mary is a professional photographer with a deep-rooted passion for storytelling through the lens. For 25 years, Mary owned and operated a successful portrait studio in Duluth. Since 2010, she has been teaching photography to students of all ages, but she’s especially drawn to working with teens, whose curiosity, creativity, and fresh perspectives continually inspire her. Today, she dedicates her time guiding the next generation of visual artists to see the world with intention and wonder.

Lara Sadowski

A lifelong fan of words, writing, and communication, Lara Sadowski is a copywriter and former owner of First Prize Writing, a corporate copywriting business where she offered copyediting, ghostwriting, and website content creation services. In addition, she has published online devotional articles and newspaper articles. Lara’s love for writing and speaking is contagious, and she looks forward to sharing those skills with students and adults alike.

Susan Berthelot

Susan Berthelot has had a lifelong interest in birds and photography. It started when she was nine years old, when her dad pointed out an Eastern Towhee hopping around the backyard. She got her first camera that same year (1972) and has been observing — and photographing — birds ever since. On this walk, Susan will cover some birding basics and share practical tips for capturing birds in photos. Get ready to slow down, look closely, and tune in — once you start noticing birds, you’ll see them everywhere.

Don’t miss out—only 8 spots available!

Nature is the classroom, light is the guide, and curiosity is the compass.

Sign up today and let your teen capture summer in a way they’ll never forget.
